Clients using this kit benefit by increasing their range of motion, decreasing contractures and scar tissue formation, as well as controlling edema. Therapist and Therapist Assistants working in hand therapy will find this product easy to use with its clear outline as to how to carry out a variety of activities that can be adapted to the client's abilities.Each client is unique and will benefit from having a program specially designed for their needs. Our Program
Each client using the kit will need to be assessed by their Therapist, to determine their abilities and what level they should be using. This tool kit is intended to be used by the Therapist Assistant with the client, following the appropriate OT/PT assessment.
The kit allows the Therapist Assistant to go through an entire hand therapy session beginning with massage, range of motion, and tabletop exercises followed by strengthening, dexterity, and desensitization and sensory re-education exercises. This product can be utilized in a variety of settings ranging from home, community care, and hospital. If interested, patients have to option to purchase certain items from the kit to promote further independent rehab once goals have been reached and discharged from the program.
